Letter from Don Thompson

I LOVE ACUPUNCTURE! I have been a part of changing people’s lives for the better. People often find their way to acupuncture when all else has failed. During the first consultation, patients share with me their stories of how an illness or pain has affected the quality of their lives. Once active with lives full of activities with their friends, children or grandchildren, chronic illness or pain has robbed them of these pleasures. Sometimes, they are unable to work to make a living. I see in their eyes and face how their illness has consumed them. When I feel like acupuncture might help them, I lay out a course of treatment. Oftentimes, I start to see the sparkle return to their eyes and hear the excitement in their voices about how they are starting to feel better.

Every day in the office is fun. I get to change people’s lives, help them find their way back to good health. My work is challenging, and every day is different. I have been fortunate to have some of the best training in acupuncture, and work in clinical settings which have helped me expand my skills and knowledge. I love helping people find their way back to good health!
